Erectile dysfunction medications seized in Glengormley

Large amounts of unlicensed medicines have been taken by of Health officials throughout a search of a house in Glengormley.
A guy was interviewed by department officers about illegally importing and subsequently supplying unlicensed impotence medications by means of the internet.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medicine offenses.
He will now be the topic of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, said: "It is crucial that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be unsafe.
"These kinds of products being sold, generally online, have actually undergone no quality control and there can be no assurance about their security.
"You just do not know what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More significantly, you do not understand the impact drugs like this may have on your health."
